I just found out that the algae I have in my tank is called “Black Beard Algae”, I found that this is mostly in freshwater. I have this in my 150gal reef tank and could not figure out how to clear it it. I tried vodka dosing for a few months now, and it does not seem to help very much, I am also running RowaPhos. Nothing seems to work. How is this going to help me??

Nualgi will eliminate BBA. Dahlyvh on you tube had it in his fresh water tank. Here’s his email from last Friday “As you know, it wasn’t doing anything for my BBA for the first couple months.  IN the last two weeks, it’s cleared the BBA up 100%.  It must just take a while to do work on BBA”
