I've been using Nualgi in this tank with miraculous results for over a year and can say I've never looked back.

Size: 50

Livestock: Neon Tetra, Bushynose Plecos, Guppies, Hundreds of neocardia shimp that breed heavily along with most other fish in the tank. There are also an assortment of snails including nerites, MTS, ramshorns and assassins.

Feeding: Southern Delight Tropical & Paradigm Omnivore and Graze. Weekly 30% water changes and feed everyday twice a day.

Lighting: Four foot four bulb T5HO 54 watt light with 6500k bulbs.

Sump & Filtration: 45 gallon sump with trickle tower and about 6 gallons of bio balls and plastic scrubbies as well as some biohome media. Diy algae scrubber in the sump along with a lush and thick mat of duckweed

Substrate: thin layer of dirt capped with Eco complete substrate and scraped with dragon stone

Heating & Cooling: 300 watt fluval heater

Almost completely rid of any kind of visible algae.

It adds to the ecosytem inside your aquarium. It makes it better by adding oxygen to the water. It also makes it more stable. It helps your bio-filter run more efficiently.

You'll notice better (fish) colors and it adds more oxygen to the water... You notice better plant growth and better colors on your plants as well

A few weeks back I was contacted by Nualgi to use and review their product. Though I didn't see some of the differences that saltwater hobbyist see, I did see some improvement. I found this product to be extremely easy to use and straightforward in the telling of the results that should be seen. Overall I'll give this product 3.5 out of 5 stars. I didn't see some of the results that are said to be expected as so my ranking of 3.5. Still a good product I believe has much potential but in my opinion more geared towards saltwater hobbyist.
