Nualgi Trial Update - Week #12

The tank matured and settled into stability almost immediately after it cycled.

I purchased a 100ml bottle and continue to use Nualgi weekly. The last update that I gave you showed that I was adding a new seahorse tank to my reef system. That tank is now cycled and connected to the sump of my reef system. I moved the macro algae that were in my sump into the seahorse tank. All of them are thriving as are the soft corals that I have added to the seahorse tank. I do not have seahorses yet because I am waiting for the pod population to get entrenched and propagate in the tank but I am confident that they will do great.

Nualgi Trial Update - Week #10

It is because of the great results that I have experienced using nualgi that I decided on venturing into these creatures that are a little trickier to keep. Thank you for allowing me to participate in your trial.

This is my 10th week of using Nualgi. I finished it off so I will be ordering a 100ml bottle as I am convinced that it has improved the appearance of my corals. As you can see I am adding a new seahorse tank that will share the sump. This new tank will have a lot of gorgonians, maybe some sponges and feather duster worms, all of which I hope will thrive with the addition of nualgi. It is because of the great results that I have experienced using nualgi that I decided on venturing into these creatures that are a little trickier to keep. Thank you for allowing me to participate in your trial.

Nualgi Trial Update - Week #8

I took photos of the places where there was diatomous algae on the sand bed to show the improvement. It is nearly gone now.

Hi Nualgi, my tank is coming up on 8 weeks of using your product. I took photos of the places where there was diatomous algae on the sand bed to show the improvement. It is nearly gone now. Also I took a pic of a sponge on the coral skeleton. My tank has always had some sponges in it but they seem healthier now than ever which I think is an indication of the increased phytoplankton in the tank, along with the amazing PE of my LPS. Since my last submission I have added a RBTA to the system. It settled in immediately. I am going to purchase Nualgi as I am convinced it has improved the health of my aquarium. In addition I am now going to add a seahorse-photosynthetic gorgonian tank to the system. I believe Nualgi will help with the special needs of these aquatic creatures to the point that I am willing to it a try.

Nualgi Trial Update - Week #5

I am having less bubble algae that plagued my tank since I set it up.

As you can see the corals are very happy with excellent polyp extension. The water is sparkling. I am still working on the small amount of algae on the sand bed on the left side of the tank, but other than that I can't imagine the tank looking any better. I am having excellent PE and my water sparkles. I am having less bubble algae that plagued my tank since I set it up. I am hopeful that with continued use of nualgi that the small amount of algae on the sand bed will clear up too. If my sand bed clears up I can't really imagine my tank looking healthier. I was skeptical but I am very pleased. I'm not noticing any difference in cleaning the glass yet but I only need to clean my glass once a week now. I didn't need to add any 2 part this week.

Nualgi Trial Update - Week #4

There is no doubt that the corals have more polyp extension. Some of them are huge like the wellso brain.

The curly que nem definitely has a brownish reddish tinge to his tentacles which appeared after the nualgi was applied. The nem also looks vibrant and very healthy as does everything in the tank. I didn't need to dose 2 part yet this week either. I am still seeing some diatomous algae or cyano on the sand bed but only a very small amount. There is absolutely nothing at all on the rock work and there is no hair algae anywhere. Cleaning the glass is the same, once a week and its just a little green spots here and there.

Nualgi Trial Update - Week #3

So far 2 and one half weeks into using the nualgi everything pretty much looks the same. The corals and animals all look good.

I had done a 4g WC just prior to adding 1.5ml of nualgi to my 36g system. My tank had a little hair algae on the rocks and a little bit of diatom algae on the sand bed. So far 2 and one half weeks into using the nualgi everything pretty much looks the same. The corals and animals all look good. I do about 10% WC a week. I dose about 10ml of alkalinity and 10ml of calcium of 2 part a week. My temperature stays around 77 degrees, PH is 8.2, my salinity is .024, my alkalinity is 7.84dkH, and calcium is about 420-400.

Nualgi Trial Update - Week #2

Today when the lights came on, there was nothing on the sand bed, no diatoms and no cyano.

My tank was pretty good before I began using Nualgi but I was having some diatoms on the sandbed recently due to heavier feedings to acommadate my 3 new fish I have purchased in the past 6 wks. I wasn't worried as I knew the tank would adjust to the new bioload plus I planned to cut the food back when the fish settled in good. Yesterday I even noticed a tiny bit of cyano on one side of the tank. Today when the lights came on, there was nothing on the sand bed, no diatoms and no cyano. I can't explain it, I didn't do a thing to the tank except add Nualgi yesterday. Again this was only my 2nd dose and I know there are not suppose to be results that soon so maybe the tank just caught up on its own. The lights have been on 4 hours and the sand is 'new' clean. All I know is my sand is spotless!

Nualgi Trial Update - Week #1 / Before Picture

Now my tank is not having any problems but I feel like my corals polyp extension is even better than normal today.

I am skeptical too but I administered my first dose yesterday. Now my tank is not having any problems but I feel like my corals polyp extension is even better than normal today. I too did a WC right before dosing but it was my normal WC and I felt it was better to do it before I added nualgi so as to not dilute the product. There is a brand new FTS because I just got a new fish.
